In 1988 my father retired from Visual Promotions and our family relocated to Las Vegas. In true character, my father decided to buy a small print shop on Valley View Blvd. He was now the proud owner of Valley Press Inc. Retirement was definitley not part of his agenda. When I showed an interest in working with him he insisted that I learn the business from the ground up, as a result I learned each and every aspect of professional printing. I started, of course, in the darkroom where I processed photos onto a piece of paper & produced dots onto photos so we can print. (Back then that is how it was done). Soon after I was a whiz in the darkroom. My dad encouraged me to learn each and every machines, he also had me follow employees around for months so I could learn forsthand how various jobs were done.I loved the entire learning process and absorbed the this knowledge with flying colors!  Years passed and through the years we laughed, we had our disagreements,had wonderful highs and naturally some lows. We worked so well together, we could predict what the other one would say before the words were even spoken! We were not just a father and duaghter, we were a team, an enviable twosome, and the love and respect we had for each other was always evident. On January 17, 2004 my dad passed away and suddenly I was not part of team any longer. It was then that I called on the help of my two best friends, John Prine and Sheila Hacco to help me run Valley Press. as I was now the Owner and President of the company. Boy was I scared! Through hard work and Sheila and John's dedication we are now growing by leaps and bounds. We are now at our new, larger location after being at the same location for 18 years. The new digs are fabulous and more efficient... we are producing more work & products at a faster rate of speed and the quality cannot be beat.
